Joyce Brennan

Joyce Brennan is an actuary and leader with diverse experience across the pensions and insurance sectors. In 2025 she was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Irish Association of Pension Funds, which represents more than 130 large pension schemes in Ireland. As CEO of IAPF, Joyce is tasked with directing thought leadership and advocacy for policy changes that benefit members of pension plans. Prior to her appointment, Joyce was managing director of the trustee companies for New Ireland’s Master Trusts and was trustee to the Bank of Ireland pension plan, chairing its investment and funding committee. She previously held roles with Mercer and KPMG. She holds multiple non-executive director roles in the insurance sector, bringing strong governance and strategic insight to her roles.
