David O’Brien

David O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer & Head of Infrastructure, TirNua Capital Partners,is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, investment activities and operational activities of TirNua Capital Partners. David has more than 25 years of senior infrastructure investment experience internationally. Prior to joining TirNua, David was a Managing Director at GIP, a part of BlackRock, having joined BlackRock Inc. as a founder of its infrastructure business in 2011 based in New York. While at BlackRock, David helped scale multiple infrastructure fund strategies and led multiple infrastructure investments, and was most recently Co-Head of BlackRock Evergreen Infrastructure Partners where he led the fund’s development, fundraising and investment activities. Prior to joining BlackRock, David was a senior investment professional at NTR, a private developer, owner and operator of infrastructure businesses, and prior to NTR, he was a senior member of the advisory team at KPMG Corporate Finance.
