A seasoned broadcaster and journalist with more than twenty years’ experience working in television and radio, Claire Brock is a news and current affairs presenter, interviewer, and moderator.

Most recently she’s been a presence on the airwaves on RTE Radio, across its current affairs programming on Radio One, including the mid morning flagship Today show and Drivetime.

As presenter of the Tonight Show, the flagship current affairs programme on Virgin Media Television, Claire cemented her reputation as an experienced anchor, regarded for bringing clarity, depth and relevance to topics that resonate with an audience.

An established news anchor, Claire fronted Virgin Media Television’s News At 8, anchoring the channel’s new nightly news programme when it launched in 2018 before moving to political debate and lively analysis on The Tonight Show.

Claire has also enjoyed presenting stints on Newstalk across its current affairs programming.

Starting her career as assistant news producer in TV3 in 2002, she transitioned into radio roles at East Coast FM, Q102, and 98FM before a move back to television in 2007.

She joined UTV Ireland in 2014 (now Virgin Media) as part of the newly launched channel’s news line-up where she co-presented the IFTA award winning Ireland Live news programme.

As an established and versatile broadcaster, Claire moderates and encourages discussion and debate at events, with the aim of informing and engaging the audience
