Dermot Roarty

Dermot Roarty is the Pensions Manager at Aer Lingus and has been in this role for more than ten years.  He has worked in the Pensions and Insurance industry for over twenty years working across several administration and consultancy roles with both Mercer and Towers Watson. Dermot’s role in Aer Lingus sees him support the management and oversight of the trustee-based arrangements in Ireland. He is the subject matter expert on all pension and risk related issues advising on policy specific to those areas. While focused on providing strategic support to Aer Lingus and scheme trustees, he is equally involved in assisting individual employees, and next of kin, understand their benefits in Aer Lingus’ complex pension landscape.  In addition to his pension work, Dermot is involved in the employee related insurance arrangements which are placed by Aer Lingus.
